Ben Brust scored 16 points and Traevon Jackson added 14 to lead the Badgers, while Trey Burke had 19 to lead all scorers for the Wolverines.

Wisconsin hit just 3 of their first 21 shots to start the game but trailed only by three at halftime (20-17).  Wisconsin hit 17 of 28 from the field in the second half to take control and beat the Wolverines for the second time this season.

Bo Ryan improved to 11-1 against Michigan coach John Beilein and is 17-5 all-time against the Wolverines.

The win gives the Badgers a semi-final date against Big Ten Champion Indiana in Saturday’s semifinals.  Wisconsin beat Indiana in the only previous meeting this season in Bloomington.
