Big Ten & Big East Tournament updates

The Big Ten men’s basketball tournament opens this morning at the United Center in Chicago.

11am        Illinois vs. Minnesota
Michigan vs. Penn State

5:30pm  Purdue vs. Nebraska
Iowa vs. Northwestern

In the Big East Tournament at Madison Square Garden, Marquette will face Notre Dame in tonight in the quarterfinals.  The Irish knocked off Rutgers 69-61 last night.

Other Big East 2nd round finals

Cincinnati 61, Providence 44
Syracuse 75, Seton Hall 63
Villanova 66, St. John’s 53
