Brewers beat Dodgers in exhibition play

March 12, 2013 By Bill Scott

Rickie Weeks had an rbi-triple to lead the Milwaukee Brewers past the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2 in Cactus League action yesterday.

Dodger Zach Greinke didn’t make his scheduled start after being scratched with elbow inflammation.  Greinke will rest for a couple of days, then start a progressive throwing program.

Mike Fiers was able to pitch out of jams in the 2nd and 3rd innings.

The Brewers return to action this afternoon.  They’ll face the Texas Rangers.
