Brewers’ Melvin recovering from Scorpion sting

when he was stung by a small scorpion, which sent him to the hospital for a few hours.

Melvin was stung on the middle finger of his left hand and soon after began experiencing symptoms.

The bark scorpion is the most venomous scorpion in North America.  It’s venom can cause severe pain along with numbness and tingling.

Cactus League

The Brewers evened their spring training record at .500 with a 4-3 Cactus League victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.  The Brewers face the Texas Rangers in Phoenix today.

Corey Hart

Corey Hart will have an MRI on his right knee to see how much progress he has made since surgery on Jan. 25 to repair a defect found after an off-season workout.  If the MRI looks good, Hart will be able to moved towards getting back on the field for baseball type drills.
