Bucks lose in Philly as Jennings is benched

March 28, 2013 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Bucks losing streak hit four games Wednesday night as they went on the road and fell 100-92 to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Milwaukee had a chance to take a big step towards locking up a playoff spot.  With their magic number at 5 over Philly, the Bucks could have cut that to three with a win.

Monta Ellis had 29-points to lead the Bucks.  Brandon Jennings was held scoreless for the first time in his 281-game career.  Part of the reason Jennings didn’t score was he was benched midway through the 3rd quarter.  Head Coach Jim Boylan questioned the team’s effort after the game…

The Bucks look to bounce back by opening up a 4-game home-stand tonight.  The L.A Lakers are in town Thursday for a 7:00 tip.  After that, Milwaukee gets Oklahoma City Saturday, Charlotte Monday and Minnesota Wednesday.
