Drive-by shooting on Waupaca area tavern

March 25, 2013 By WRN Contributor

Waupaca County authorities are asking for the public’s help in figuring out who was involved in an apparent drive-by shooting in King that left one man with critical injuries. Sheriff’s officials say 31-year-old Ricky Stoflet, Jr. was hit by one of several bullets fired into the Wally World Tavern and the apartment behind it around 3:30 Saturday morning.  Stoflet is reported to be in critical but stable condition.

Detective Captain Don Conat with the sheriff’s department says they believe a car with at least two shooters drove through the parking lot and fired into the building.  Authorities have video footage of the vehicle which is believed to be a mid-2000’s silver of beige Chevy Impala.

If you have any information regarding the shooting, you’re asked to call the sheriff’s department, or Waupaca County Crime-stoppers.
