Speeding driver tosses cocaine

March 15, 2013 By WRN Contributor

It must have been some dire circumstances to warrant tossing a bag of cocaine out the window of a speeding car while trying to escape the cops. It was just outside the border with Racine, near Lake Michigan, that a Mount Pleasant Police officer attempted a traffic stop, but the driver kept going & speeding up. Into neighboring Kenosha County, the blue car with dark tinted windows topped 100-miles an hour, prompting a supervisor to terminate the pursuit. Moments earlier, a duffle bag came flying out of the speeding car’s window. Police found it contained more than 500 grams of cocaine, with a street value exceeding $15,000. Mount Pleasant Police don’t expect the owner to make a claim for it, but say their door is open.
