WIAA Girls State Tournament (Day 1 Results)

Attendance is up at the Girls WIAA State Basketball Championships.  The first day

total at the Resch Center in Green Bay is 8,440, up from last years Day 1 total of 6,242 in Madison.  The afternoon session yesterday drew 3,617 fans and the evening session climbed to 4,823.

The day 1 finals and day 2 schedule follow.

Division 5

Division 4

Algoma 62, Cuba City 39
Colfax 42, The Prairie School 41

Day 2 today – Division 3 9:05am

Kewaunee (25-1) vs. Lodi (24-2)
Neillsville (26-0) vs. East Troy (25-1)

Division 3 – 1:35pm

Notre Dame (20-6) vs. Milton (19-7)
New London (26-0) vs. New Berlin Eisenhower (24-2)

Division 1 – 6:35pm

Arrowhead (18-8) vs. Mukwonago (24-2)
Superior (23-3) vs. Milwaukee Riverside (22-4)
