WIAA Girls State Tourney tips for 1st time in Green Bay

The 38th Annual WIAA Girls State Basketball Championships tip-off today for the

first time at the Resch Center in Green Bay.  It’s the first time in the tournament’s history that it’ll be played somewhere other than Madison.

The tournament tips off this afternoon and continues through Saturday.

Division 5 semifinals 1:35pm

Newman Catholic (20-7) vs. Assumption (26-1)
South Shore (26-0 vs. Barneveld (26-1)

Division 4 semifinals 6:35pm

Algoma (24-2) vs. Cuba City (25-1)
Colfax (25-1) vs. The Prairie School (24-2)

Friday – Division 3 semifinals 9:05am

Kewaunee (25-1) vs. Lodi (24-2)
Neillsville (26-0) vs. East Troy (25-1)

Division 2 semifinals 1:35pm

Notre Dame (20-6) vs. Milton (19-7)
New London (26-0) vs. New Berlin Eisenhower (24-2)

Division 1 semifinals 6:35pm

Arrowhead (18-8) vs. Mukwonago (24-2)
Superior (23-3) vs. Milwaukee Riverside (22-4)

Saturday – State Championship finals

A championship game will be played in all 5 divisions!
