A Wausau missing persons case is now being investigated as a homicide. Wausau Police say 58-year-old Tong Pao Hang from St. Paul Minnesota is missing and may be dead.
A suspect is in custody. Milwaukee Police apprehended 26-year-old Kou Thao of Wausau Thursday morning along with his girlfriend in a car stolen from Wausau.
The investigation centers around the report of a gunshot in the basement of a Wausau home on April 7th. Officers and detectives have now seen the home, and observed what they believe is blood in the basement at 402 Chicago Avenue. The Wisconsin Crime Lab is helping process evidence from the house and the stolen car.
