Badgers add walk-on to 2013 hoops class

April 3, 2013 By Bill Scott

Green Bay Southwest High School forward, Aaron Moesch, has been admitted to the University of Wisconsin and will walk on to the men’s basketball team next fall.

The 6’8 Moesch led Green Bay Southwest to the state regional finals this season after finishing second in the conference in scoring at 18.4 points a game, while adding 12.1 boards a contest.  Moesch ended his career with more than 1,000 points, scoring a game-high 15 in his final game against De Pere.

Moesch becomes the sixth member of Bo Ryan’s 2013 class, joining the likes of Bronson Koenig (La Crosse Aquinas), Nigel Hayes (Toledo, Ohio), Vitto Brown (Bowling Green, Ohio), Jordan Hill (Pasadena, California) and Riley Dearring (Minnetonka, Minnesota).
