The Detroit Lions kicked off their second night of the NFL draft by selecting defensive back, Darius Slay out of Mississippi State.

Slay selected 36th overall, he snagged 5 interceptions in 2012 and was voted to the Coaches All-SEC Second team. Slay joins first round selection Ziggy Ansah out of BYU, as the Lions look to bolster their defense in the play-maker heavy NFC North.
