A man was arrested at a Duluth, Minnesota motel Thursday night, following a fatal shooting in neighboring Superior. The Duluth News Tribune reports that the Superior Police Department called the midday death of a man found in a parking lot with a gunshot wound “suspicious.” The injury had initially been reported as self-inflicted.
Duluth police made the arrest at 5:55 p.m. at a motel in West Duluth. The suspect was being held Thursday night in the St. Louis County Jail awaiting charges on what Superior police are calling a homicide. Superior police said the investigation is ongoing.
