Brewers place Henderson on DL

May 26, 2013 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Brewers put closer Jim Henderson on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring.  The Brewers don’t think it’s a serious pull.  No other roster move was announced on Saturday night.

Henderson was injured while  delivering a pitch in the 9th inning against the Pirates on Friday night, giving way to Francisco Rodriguez, who earned a save in the Brewers 2-1 win over the Pirates.

Henderson had been 9 for 9 in save situations entering Friday’s game.
