Rodriguez set for test in the minors

May 8, 2013 By Bill Scott

Francisco Rodriguez signed with the Milwaukee Brewers on April 16.  He’s now ready to pitch in the minors, for Class A Brevard County.

Rodriguez is trying to get back to the Major League’s and the Brewers are giving him that chance.  He’s scheduled to pitch three times this week, then move to AAA Nashville for a few more appearances.

The Brewers must then decide if K-Rod warrants a return to the Majors in a Brewers uniform.  The Brewers have 30-days from his April 16th signing date to promote him to the majors.  If they don’t, Rodriguez can become a free agent.
