the North and Northwestern part of the state.

This week should have been the halfway point in a 22-game high school schedule, but this spring means those numbers are way off.

In Hayward, the Hurricanes have played just 5 games so far.  Gary Hessell from WRLS Radio in says conference foe Northwestern (Tigers) haven’t played any games at all.

Hessell said 14 inches of snow cancelled a home game with Ashland on Thursday.

As you can see in Hurly, it doesn’t look like there’ll be any spring sports played anytime soon.  The opening weekend of the Inland Lake Fishing season is also going to be in jeopardy this weekend in the Northwoods.
