WIAA had a busy weekend

The WIAA was busy over the weekend.  The Board of Control approved negotiations to

extend girls basketball and volleyball agreements through 2020 at the Resch Center in Green Bay.

The Board of Control also voted to extend an agreement with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers that will keep the state baseball tournament at Fox Cities Stadium through 2020.  The tournament has been held in the Fox Cities since 1998.

The State Girls Basketball Tournament moved to the Resch Center for the first time last season and had the biggest turnout in four years with 39,731 fans attending the three-day tournament.
