A Madison couple were killed this week in a traffic crash in Texas. According to Madison College, Al Studesville, a counselor at the school, was killed along with his wife Janet, died in the Tuesday crash near Amarillo.  They were traveling on a Honda Goldwing motorcycle.

Keith Cornille, vice president for student development, said Studesville was “a big man with a warm heart, and will long be remembered at Madison College for his good humor, hearty laugh, genuine interest in everyone he met and his gift for telling stories.”

The Amarillo Globe-News reported that a tractor-trailer crossed the center line and struck the Studesville’s motorcycle head on.  The couple’s son, Eric, is an assistant coach for the Denver Broncos.
