State golf heads to final day

Champions will be crowned today at the WIAA Boys State High School Golf Championships at University Ridge in Verona.

After the opening day, Cedarburg has a 5-stroke lead on Brookfield in the Division 1 field.  Appleton East and Eau Claire North are tied for third.

Edgerton has the first round lead in Division 2, 12-shots ahead of Catholic Memorial.

Osseo-Fairchild tops the Division-3 field by 6-shots over Pardeeville.

The final day of competition is today.
