Brewers resume play tonight

July 19, 2013 By Bill Scott

After the 4-day Major League Baseball All-Star break, the Milwaukee Brewers return to action tonight.  The Brewers open a 3-game weekend series against the Miami Marlins at Miller Park.

The Brewers finished the first half with a 38-56 record, better only than the record of the Miami Marlins, Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros.

The Brewers are just hoping to be competitive in the second half.  They’re on pace for 97 losses this season.

The Brewers send Kyle Lohse to the mound for the series opener tonight.
