Farm Technology Days comes to Barron County

July 8, 2013 By WRN Contributor

An annual show that helps to highlight what’s new in the agriculture industry kicks off this week in Barron County.

As many as 40,000 people are expected to attend the 2013 Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, which runs July 9-11 at Breezy Hill Dairy Farm in Dallas, WI. Barron County Agricultural Agent Tim Jergenson says the event is a trade show, at its very heart, with farm families coming out to see the most recent technological innovations in machinery and practices.

The annual event is the largest show of its type in Wisconsin and the Midwest. Jergenson says the show will feature over 100 educational seminars and displays on a variety of topics, aimed at both professionals and children.

More than 1,500 volunteers will be working to help keep the show running.
