Green Bay Blizzard up for sale

July 1, 2013 By Bill Scott

The Green Bay Blizzard of the Indoor Football League is up for sale.  The team has until Sept. 1st to find a buyer or it will be forced to suspend operations.  That deadline was imposed by the league as a timeline for teams to commit to the 2014 season.

The Blizzard hasn’t made a profit since the current ownership group took over in 2010, but the losses have decreased each year.

The Blizzard team was formed in 2003, with the current owners purchasing the team in 2010.
