Body found in burned car in Waupaca County

August 8, 2013 By WRN Contributor

The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department is investigating what’s being called a homicide.

The body of a 36-year-old Plover woman was found in a burned out vehicle late Wednesday morning in the Town of Harrison, about ten miles north of Iola. The woman’s name has not yet been released. An autopsy is being performed on the body.

Following the discovery of the body, Plover police and the state State Division of Criminal Information conducted a search of an apartment in Plover. No one is in custody in connection with the death. Anyone with information related to the homicide is asked to call the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department.
