Brewers end Rangers 8-game win streak

August 14, 2013 By Bill Scott

Scooter Gennett clubbed a pair of home runs and Khris Davis went deep as well, leading the Milwaukee Brewers to a 5-1 win over the Texas Rangers in Arlington.

Marco Estrada allowed a run on 4-hits in six innings to earn his second straight win since coming off the disabled list.

The game was delayed 42-minutes at the start because of rain.

The Brewers guaranteed themselves a winning road trip.  They’re 5-3 with the final game of the trip tonight against the Rangers.  Tyler Thornburg faces Matt Garza in the pitching matchup.
