semifinal series 15-0 to Lakeshore.  They didn’t hang their heads.  The Mallards bounced back to win Tuesday night to even the series up and force a deciding game 3.

Last night, the Mallards completed the comeback as Alex Bacon clubbed a 3-run, 9th inning home run for a thrilling 5-3 win over the Chinooks.

Bacon didn’t even start the game.  He replaced outfielder Tony Cheky in the fifth after Cheky hurt his shoulder diving for a line drive.  He took an 0-2 pitch and pit it just over the left field fence.

Mallards reliever Danny Sullivan closed out the victory by earning the save.

Madison hosts game one of the Summer Collegiate World Series tonight at 7:05pm at the “Duck Pond”.
