Peralta beats Giants for the first time

The Milwaukee Brewers evened their series with the San Francisco Giants, pulling out a 3-1 victory last night.  Wily Peralta won his 8th game of the season (8-11) and beat the Giants for the first time in his career.

Carlos Gomez supplied the power for the Brewers, clubbing his 18th home run of the season.

Peralta struck out six batters in the win.  All six came between the 2nd and 4th innings.

The Brewers and Giants play game 3 of the 4-game series tonight.  Marco Estrada (4-4)returns from the disabled list to start for the Brewers.  Lefty Madison Baumgartner (11-6) goes for the Giants.
