Rain delays final round of the BMW Championship

September 16, 2013 By Bill Scott

It was a soggy day at Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Illinois on Sunday.  Rain forced the final round of the BMW Championship to be postponed until today.

Jim Furyk (-13) takes a 1-shot lead into the finale today, with Madison native Steve Stricker just a shot back at 12-under par.  Furyk and Stricker are scheduled to tee off at 9:40 this morning.  There’s still a small chance for a shower in the forecast this morning.

This is the third of four events in the FedEx Cup Playoffs.  Following today, the top 30 players advance to next week’s Tour Championship.
