Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby is the NFC’s Special Teams Player of the
Month, the second time in his career (November 2007) that he’s captured the honor.
Crosby led the NFL with 50 points and 13 field goals in October, helping the Packers to a 4-0 record. His 50 points were 11 more than the next player (Nick Folk, 39) in the NFL and 15 more than the No. 2 player (Phil Dawson, 35) in the NFC.
Crosby was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 5.
Crosby and Ryan Longwell (three) are the only Packers to be named Special Teams Player of the Month multiple times.
