Borland and Abbrederis expected to play Saturday

November 8, 2013 By Bill Scott

The Wisconsin Badgers are expecting to get wide receiver Jared Abbrederis and

Jared Abbrederis

Jared Abbrederis

linebacker Chris Borland back for Saturday’s game against BYU at Camp Randall Stadium.

Abbrederis suffered a rib injury in last week’s win over Iowa but went through a full practice on Thursday.

Borland didn’t play at Iowa and has been out for 2+ games with a hamstring injury, but he’s practiced for the last two days and says he’s ready to go.

The Badgers won’t have center Dallas Lewallen this weekend.  He suffered a right-leg injury in last week’s win over Iowa.

The Cougars

It’ll be good to have Borland back.  BYU is ranked 14th nationally in rushing
(258.8 ypg).  The Cougars run a no-huddle offense and averages just under 90 plays a game.

Saturday’s game marks the first in 20 years for BYU against a Big Ten Conference team.  Coach Bronco Mendenhall said they would like to see more Big Ten games scheduled in the future.
