Free agent slugger Corey Hart said yesterday that the Milwaukee Brewers are one of
four teams who have shown interest in signing him but also said nothing would happen until he gets medical clearance to play on December 3.
Hart told Sirius XM, the Brewers, Tampa Bay, Boston and Colorado have contacted his agent but are awaiting a clean bill of health before considering formal offers.
Hart missed the entire 2013 season after undergoing surgery on both knees and the Brewers never did find a suitable replacement at first base.
