Marquette cruises past Grambling State

Chris Otule scored 17 points and Steve Taylor added 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead 17th ranked Marquette to a 114-71 win over Grambling State on Tuesday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

The Golden Eagles led by as many as 23 in the first half as they jumped out early and never looked back.

Deonte Burton added 14, JuJuan Johnson 12 and Jamil Thomas, Juan Anderson and Jake Thomas each had 11 points for Marquette.

Marquette (2-0) faces Big Ten member Ohio State on Saturday.
