Panthers earn comeback win over Davidson

Matt Tiby scored a career-high 21 points and pulled down 9 rebounds as UW-Milwaukee (10-1) beat Davidson (0-2) 81-77 in North Carolina.  The Panthers rallied from 11 points down in the 2nd half to pull out the win.

Much of the Panthers comeback effort took place at the free throw line where they hit 32 of 40 on the night.

Women’s hoops

In women’s action, Marquette improved to 2-0 on the season, rolling to a 96-44 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Arlesia Morse came off the Marquette bench to lead the Golden Eagles in scoring with 19 points.
