Walker wants Froelich on GAB

November 5, 2013 By WRN Contributor

Governor Scott Walker wants a former Outagamie County judge to replace a member of the Government Accountability Board. Walker is withdrawing his nomination of David Deininger. He was the chairman of the GAB during the governor’s recall.

The governor appointed Deninger in 2011, for a term running until 2016, but the Senate never confirmed him. Walker now wants Harold Froehlich to take his place. Froehlich served as an Outagamie County judge for 30 years.
