Big Ten & ACC deadlocked again

December 5, 2013 By Bill Scott

For the second straight year, the Big Ten/ACC Challenge ended in a tie.  6 wins and 6 losses for both sides.

The game that kept the Big Ten from winning the Challenge took place in East Lansing, Michigan.  That’s were unranked North Carolina knocked off #1 ranked Michigan State 79-65.

Menomonee Falls standout J.P. Tokoto had 12 points and a career high 10 rebounds in the win for the Tar Heels.

On the flip side, even though Wisconsin entered the game ranked 8th in the country, Virginia was the favorite in Charlottesville.  But it was the Badgers that pulled out a 48-38 victory.

The ACC still leads the all-time series with a 10-3-2 advantage.
