It could be Flynn again for the Packers!

December 13, 2013 By Bill Scott

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers put on his happy face and professed to the world that he felt good and was hoping to play against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.  Rodgers also said for that to happen, he would need to take all of the practice reps today and get cleared by Dr. Patrick McKenzie.

During the short period of practice that is open to the media, it was Matt Flynn and not Aaron Rodgers taking reps with the offense during a 2-minute drill.  Rodgers stood by with his helmet off and he didn’t appear to be happy about it.

Rodgers did do some throwing, but when 11-on-11 periods started, it was Matt Flynn that took the reps.

It’s possible that the Packers are putting on the worlds largest smoke screen, not showing reporters any of his work.  Mike McCarthy will be talking to the media shortly.

Running back Eddie Lacy returned to practice and is expected to play on Sunday at Dallas.  That’s big for the Packers, who will be going up against the Cowboys 26th ranked run defense.
