It appears there will not be any new millionaires in Wisconsin. At least, not as a result of Tuesday night’s $636 million Mega Millions drawing.
Lottery officials say two winning tickets were sold for the massive jackpot, the second largest in US lottery history. One was in California and the other was in Georgia.
Wisconsin did have a $20,000 winner, along with seven other tickets that are worth $5,000 each. Two of those eight winning tickets were sold in Milwaukee. The others were from Whitewater, West Bend, Delafield, Oregon, Oakdale, and Brodhead.
Tuesday night’s numbers were 8, 14, 17, 20, and 39. The Mega Ball was seven.
