Cold shooting does in Lady Badgers

January 27, 2014 By Bill Scott

The Wisconsin women’s basketball team continues to struggle with its shooting.  The Badgers shot just 33% from the field (17 of 51) and 20.8% from (5 of 24) three-point range and the Badgers fell to Michigan 60-44 on Sunday at the Kohl Center.

The Badgers (9-10, 2-5 Big Ten) had just two players in double figures.  Michala Johnson had 15 points and Nicole Bauman added a season-high 13 in the loss.

The Badgers were out-rebounded 39-26 in the loss.

The Badgers play next at Michigan State on Thursday night.
