Green Bay’s 12-game win streak ends

The Green Bay Phoenix played without 7’1 center Alec Brown last night and saw their 12-game win streak come to an end.  The Phoenix fell to Valparaiso 75-60 last night, losing for the first time in the Horizon League this season.

Brown sat out last nights game with a shoulder injury.  Without him, the Phoenix (17-4, 7-1 HL) were outscored by 10 points in the paint and were outrebounded 38-28.

The Crusaders got 26 points from LaVonte Dority, while Keifer Sykes had 19 to lead the Phoenix.

Green Bay plays host to Wright State on Saturday night.
