the season with two broken ribs.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Jones revealed at a charity appearance in Greenfield yesterday that he broke the ribs in the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Dec. 22 and was spitting up blood the next day.

Jones had two catches for 20 yards in Sunday’s Wild Card playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers.  He had six catches for 41 yards against the Bears in the regular season finale.

Jones will be a free agent but said he’d like to return to Green Bay and play for the Packers.
