Michigan’s Stauskas is Big Ten Player of the Week

Michigan’s Nik Stauskas has been award this week’s Big Ten Player of the Week award.

Stauskas averaged 22.0 points, 5 rebounds and 4.5 assists a game in leading the Wolverines to a pair of Big Ten wins over Penn State and Wisconsin.

Stauskas scored 23 points in Saturday’s 77-70 win over the then 3rd ranked Badgers, including the final 11 points of the game.

Stauskas currently leads the Big Ten in scoring at 18.0 ppg and paces the conference with eight 20-point games.

It’s his first Big Ten Player of the Week award.
