Panthers end losing ways against Green Bay

January 12, 2014 By Bill Scott

UW-Milwaukee ended a 17-game losing streak against the UW-Green Bay Phoenix on Saturday, pulling off a 75-64 win over the Phoenix at the Kress Events Center.

The Panthers (5-9, 1-0) erased a 12-point first half deficit and knocked off the 15-time defending conference champions.

The Panthers trailed 37-28 at halftime and went on a 25-5 run in the second half to pull out the win.  The last time Milwaukee beat Green Bay in this series came back in 2006.
