Ryan honored after Badgers 15-0 start

Bo Ryan has been named the Jim Phelan midseason national Coach of the Year by CollegeInsider.com.

The 4th ranked Badgers can set the record for best start in program history if they can beat #23 Illinois (13-2, 2-0) tonight in Madison.

Wisconsin has non-conference wins over Florida, Saint Louis and Virginia.

The Jim Phelan Award is presented annually to the nation’s top Division 1 coach and was given to Ryan after the 2007-08 season.
