UW-Green Bay women shooting woes continue

The Green Bay Phoenix shot 31% from the field and 23% from three-point range and fell to Youngstown State 66-57 in Youngstown, Ohio last night.

Green Bay has hit just 13 of 72 (18%) of their three’s during the last two games and 42 of 191 (22%) over the last nine games.

The Penguins (7-9, 3-0 Horizon League) defeated the Phoenix for just the second time in 31 meetings.

Green Bay (8-7, 1-2 HL) has as many losses this season as it had in the previous three combined.

Junior point guard Megan Lukan had 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists in the loss.

In other Horizon League action, Cleveland State knocked off UW-Milwaukee 73-63.
