Badger women fall in OT

March 3, 2014 By Bill Scott

The University of Wisconsin women’s basketball team dropped its home finale 77-73 to Northwestern in overtime on Sunday at the Kohl Center.

The Badgers rallied from 10-points back in the second half to force the overtime, before falling to the Wildcats.

The Wildcats (15-14, 5-11 Big Ten) used a 5-0 run to take control in the overtime.

The Badgers (10-18, 3-13) open play in the Big Ten Conference tournament on Thursday as the number-11 seed.  They’ll face number-6 Minnesota on Thursday night.   The winner will face number-3 Nebraska on Friday night.
