Beloit fire kills two people, critically injures third

March 5, 2014 By WRN Contributor

An early morning house fire in Beloit has left two people dead and a third critically injured. Police and firefighters were called to the home just after 4 a.m. Wednesday, which they found engulfed in flames. Beloit Police have identified the people who died as 61-year-old Clint Christensen and 33-year-old Jamie Christensen. They died at the scene. Caren Christensen, age 60, is in critical condition.

Police Captain Bill Tyler said the first police officers on the scene were able to help one of the victims escape the home. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
