Warhawks are D-3 basketball champs

UW-Whitewater is the last team still standing in Division 3 men’s college basketball.  The Warhawks beat Williams College of Massachusetts 75-73 in Salem, Virginia on Saturday.

Quardell Young hit a layup and finished a three-point play with 0.9 seconds to play to give Whitewater the NCAA title.

The Warhawks (29-4) captured their 4th NCAA Championship and 2nd in the last three years.
