Billboards seek information in motorcyclist deaths

April 24, 2014 By WRN Contributor

hitandrunThe Rock County Sheriff’s Office is turning to billboards in the search for a suspect vehicle in Sunday night’s fatal motorcycle crash on Highway 14 east of Janesville. Captain Todd Christiansen says billboards have been posted from Rockford to Beaver Dam. He says web sites and social media are also in play. Janesville Crimestoppers is also offering a reward. The sheriff’s office is looking for a dark colored 2004 to 2007 Infinity QX56 SUV, which crossed the center line and caused the deaths of two motorcycle drivers. Chrsitiansen says investigators have been tracking all the local vehicle registrations matching the description. Area automobile dealerships, body shops, and parts suppliers have also been notified. He says tips have been coming in every day.
