Meth bust in Wausau

April 30, 2014 By WRN Contributor

A Monday raid on a Wausau house found over $10,000 worth of methamphetamines.

The Special Investigations Unit officers from the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, Everest Metro Police, and Wausau Police executed a warrant at 608 First Street Monday. They found 90 grams of crystal methamphetamine that was bagged for resale, some cash, and a video surveillance system.

A 43-year-old man and his 42-year-old wife were arrested, as well as another 27-year-old man. All are charged with possession with intent to deliver drugs. The couple’s 14, 12, and 4-year-old children were in the home at the time of the arrests. They are temporarily in the custody of social workers.

Names have not yet been released.
