Governor Scott Walker is on Time magazine’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. “It’s really about what we did, not what I did in Wisconsin. What got their attention was the fact that in the last few years we’ve pushed from really big, bold reforms here in the state, and that they’re working, they’re paying off,” Walker said Thursday during a stop in the Appleton area.

Someone writes a short note about each person on the list, and in Walker’s case New Jersey Governor Chris Christie touched on the collective bargaining changes that Governor Walker implemented, and his recall fight.

The list of 100 includes world leaders such as President Barack Obama and Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin, and celebrities such as Beyonce. “To even be in the same breath as Beyonce is – my sons are 18 and 19 – even more impressive than Putin or President Obama or anyone else out there.”
