Green Bay softball finishes season, now searching for a new coach

May 19, 2014 By Bill Scott

Auburn eliminated the UW-Green Bay womens softball team in NCAA Regional play, 9-1 in Minneapolis on Saturday.

After the loss, UWGB coach Jean Rivett announced her retirement after 13 years as the team’s head coach.

Rivett posted a 255-207-1 record and is the winningest coach in program history.  The Phoenix won its first regular-season Horizon League title this season and tied a program record with 27 wins.
